Zip has made its mobile service, ZMobile, available to all Australians through the Zip website.
New customers can now sign up online, including those who are not existing Zip customers.
The company’s other products in Australia include the Zip Pay, Zip Plus and Zip Money credit accounts, as well as the Zip Personal Loan.
ZMobile offers prepaid plans on TPG Telecom’s 4G and 5G network. Each plan includes unlimited national talk and text, up to 500GB of data rollover and no lock-in contracts.
Customers also have access to global roaming and international calling.
For new customers, three plans are offered at a reduced price for the first six months.
The 20GB plan costs A$9 a month during this period and A$24 a month afterwards, with access to the 4G network.
Meanwhile, the 45GB plan costs A$15 a month for the first six months before increasing to A$38. Priced at A$29 a month for the same period, the 100GB plan then rises to A$66.
Both plans run on the 4G and 5G networks and include standard international calls and SMS to 25 countries.
In addition, customers can keep their existing number through number porting. Sign-up, eSIM activation and account management all take place on the Zip website.
According to Zip Co, ZMobile is designed to give Australians greater choice and control over their everyday mobile costs.

“Mobile connectivity is critical to how people manage life, work and money, and remains an essential cost that many households are looking to control,”
said Peter Gray, Co-founder and Head of Strategic Growth at Zip Co.
Gray added that making ZMobile available nationwide marks the next step in the company’s strategy to offer choices that help people with their everyday lives.
