Australian fintech Bizcap is stepping up its North American expansion with a new US$175 million credit facility.
Bizcap secured the facility from an unnamed US institutional credit manager.
The facility will give Bizcap more capacity to finance businesses and expand its product offerings across the US and Canada.
Founded in 2019, Bizcap operates in eight countries and has provided more than US$5 billion in funding to over 100,000 small and medium-sized businesses worldwide.
Bizcap expanded into Singapore in April 2025 and increased its SME lending limit to S$1 million in June 2026, following more than S$40 million in funding during its first year.
The company uses technology and data-driven underwriting to assess financing applications beyond traditional credit criteria.
Brean Capital served as the exclusive financial advisor and sole placement agent for the transaction.

“We’ve also invested heavily in AI and proprietary technology because we believe the future of business financing is about making better decisions, faster, while maintaining a personal and practical approach.
This facility gives us the capacity to bring that approach to more businesses across the US and Canada, while continuing to invest in the technology, products and people driving our growth.”
said Albert Gahfi, Chief Executive Officer of Bizcap.
“Our international expansion has been supported by a consistent approach to underwriting criteria, risk management and governance.
This facility provides additional capacity to support our North American operations as we continue to scale, while maintaining the established risk management and underwriting practices that underpin our business.”
said Mendy Piekarski, Chief Legal Officer of Bizcap.
