Pay.com.au is entering the US market as PayRewards after raising US$28 million in Series E funding.
The privately funded round included existing and new investors, although the company did not disclose their names.
The latest round brings the group’s total funding to US$70 million. It follows an A$25 million raise in November 2025, worth about US$18 million at the time.
PayRewards allows US small businesses to earn points when paying eligible expenses such as commercial rent, supplier invoices, utilities and taxes.
The platform does not charge a monthly subscription fee. Businesses instead pay a fee when they choose to earn PayRewards points.
Users can redeem the points through participating airline and hotel loyalty programmes.
Other options include gift cards, employee incentives and credits against future invoices processed through PayRewards.

“PayRewards is an end-to-end platform making it simple to pay anyone, by card or bank transfer, and earn full credit card and PayRewards Points in return.”
said Blake Hutchison, US CEO of PayRewards.
Pay.com.au said it processed more than US$7 billion in business expenses over the past 12 months and serves more than 30,000 businesses.
The payment volume doubled from a year earlier.
PayRewards is currently available to small businesses in most US states.
