Chubb has appointed its former Malaysia chief Jon Longmore as its next New Zealand Country President.

Longmore will take up the Auckland-based role in September 2026.

He will oversee Chubb’s general insurance business in New Zealand, including commercial property and casualty insurance, personal lines, and accident and health.

Longmore will report to Chris Colahan, Acting Country President for Australia and New Zealand.

He joined Chubb in 2011 and has held senior roles in underwriting and distribution in Australia.

Longmore became Head of Digital for Asia Pacific in 2018 and was based in Singapore.

He was appointed Country President of Indonesia in 2020 before becoming Country President of Chubb Malaysia.
