Moneytech has appointed Paul Garvey as its new Chief Financial Officer, as reported by Australian Fintech.
Garvey joins Moneytech with over 25 years of senior financial management experience across the Australian banking and corporate sectors.
He most recently served as Director of Treasury and Capital Markets at Metrics Credit Partners.
He transitioned to that role following Metrics’ acquisition of Taurus Motor Finance in July 2025.
Before the acquisition, Garvey was the Chief Financial Officer at Taurus, where he managed the finance, accounting, treasury, tax, audit, and payroll functions.
His earlier career includes senior finance and treasury leadership positions at McMillan Shakespeare Group, Eclipx Group, FleetPartners, and ME Bank.

“His career has been built at the intersection of financial leadership and capital markets, exactly the disciplines that matter most to a growing non-bank lender,”
said Nick McGrath, Chief Executive Officer of Moneytech.
McGrath added that Garvey’s expertise in treasury, securitisation, and funding strategy will be highly valuable as the company scales its lending platform.

“The business has built a strong reputation as a leading non-bank lender, and I look forward to working with Nick and the team to support its continued success, strengthen its funding platform, and deliver long-term value for customers, partners and investors,”
Garvey said.
