About the role

As the Product Manager – Growth, you will own the customer journey from sign-up through to verification. This includes onboarding systems, fraud controls, and CRO experiments, ensuring customers can join pay.com.au quickly and securely.

You’ll manage vendor relationships with IDV and fraud providers, partner with Compliance, and lead experiments to improve verification conversion. This role is critical to optimising our funnel performance and balancing user experience with compliance obligations.

Responsibilities
  • Own funnel performance from sign-up → verification.
  • Manage vendor relationships with fraud/IDV providers (Sardine, F1, FrankieOne).
  • Partner with Compliance to ensure AML/KYC obligations are met.
  • Run CRO experiments in the onboarding and verification journey.
  • Monitor and report KPIs: verification rate, drop-off %, and verification time.
  • Collaborate with Platform PM for seamless handoff from verified → activated.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and engineering to implement growth levers at speed.
Qualifications
  • 4–6 years’ product management experience, ideally in fintech with experimentation experience.
  • Analytical and CRO/experimentation background.
  • Experience working with compliance and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.
  • Customer-centric with proven ability to balance UX and risk controls.
  • Execution-focused and comfortable with complex problem solving.
