Eftsure is hiring multiple Business Development Managers across the SMB and Mid-Market teams, as they continue to scale off the back of strong year-on-year growth. Eftsure is looking for proactive, people-savvy BDMs who love the thrill of the chase and thrive in a fast-paced, transactional sales environment.

About the team

Our Business Development team sits at the heart of Eftsure’s mission to protect Australian businesses from the increasing threat of fraud. You’ll work closely with Marketing, Sales Development, Customer Success, and Account Management to drive growth while helping clients gain confidence in every transaction.

You won’t be doing this alone - every BDM is supported by two dedicated SDRs, giving you consistent, high-quality pipeline so you can focus on what you do best: selling.

Responsibilities

At Eftsure, we’re on a mission to become THE Security Standard for B2B payments. Our platform is evolving, and we’re investing heavily in our sales team to support continued growth.

As part of our expanding SMB or Mid-Market sales teams, you’ll step into a high-energy environment where you’ll:

  • Partner with two dedicated SDRs to generate and qualify new sales opportunities
  • Identify and engage potential clients, primarily finance teams (CFOs, Heads of Finance, AP Managers)
  • Run discovery calls to uncover customer pain points and risk exposure
  • Deliver tailored product demos that clearly articulate Eftsure’s value in preventing payment fraud
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial conversation through to close
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting and activity in the CRM
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth handover and onboarding experience
Qualifications
  • You thrive in a role with strong support, structure and experienced mentors
  • You’re curious, ambitious, confident, and enjoy working to targets
  • You have experience selling to finance leaders or a solid understanding of financial ecosystems
  • SaaS sales experience is ideal, but not essential
  • We’ve seen strong success from candidates with Chartered Accounting or Big 4 consultancy backgrounds
  • You’re self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable in a fast-paced, growth environment
  • You’re excited by joining a business that’s scaling and evolving

This is a hybrid role, with the flexibility to work from home up to three days per week.
