Digital asset brokerage Swyftx has secured an Australian Financial Services License from the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).
The approval includes a non-cash payment facility authorisation, positioning the company to offer payment services to business and retail clients in the future.
The regulatory license also includes authorisations for retail derivatives and basic deposit products.

“It is an enormous responsibility to be a regulated financial service, and we will continue to work to offer products that improve the lives of everyone who uses Swyftx,”
said Andrea Yuen, Interim Co-CEO at Swyftx.
Founded in 2019 by Alex Harper and Angus Goldman, Swyftx currently serves over one million clients across Australia, New Zealand, and the US.
The ASIC approval follows a period of targeted expansion for the brokerage. In 2025, Swyftx acquired New Zealand digital currency exchange Easy Crypto.
Swyftx further expanded its footprint by purchasing boutique crypto brokerage and asset manager Caleb & Brown, which supports tens of thousands of high-net-worth clients across the US and Australia.
