ANNA Money Australia has expanded its operating platform for small businesses.
Consolidating payments, licensing, and automated tax workflows, the company aims to give business owners one place to manage their daily operations.
Securing an Australian Financial Services License (AFSL) prompted this latest expansion. Reaching this milestone allows ANNA to offer regulated financial capabilities directly to its users.
Users can now access Apple Pay and Google Pay for mobile and wallet-based payments.
ANNA also expanded its Mastercard digital checkout functionality using Click to Pay and the Mastercard Digital Enablement Service for Merchants.
To support government administration, the platform gained Digital Service Provider (DSP) accreditation.
Operating under this framework enables the company to integrate its systems with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) and the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
These integrations support workflows for online company registration, GST calculation, and Business Activity Statement (BAS) preparation.
Assisted lodgement capabilities are also available for users with the correct permissions and scope.
Ryan Edwards-Pritchard, CEO of ANNA Money Australia, said small businesses need systems that actually work together instead of disconnected tools.

“We are focused on the real operating moments business owners deal with every day: starting up, incorporating a company, opening an account, getting paid, paying suppliers, managing cards, paying bills, calculating GST, preparing BAS, and keeping company records in order,”
Edwards-Pritchard said.
Australian small businesses frequently manage separate business accounts, payment providers, and government portals.
Aiming to reduce this friction, ANNA is combining payment utility with features like sole trader setup support and company secretary services, which are being rolled out to eligible users.
Future plans for ANNA include continuing to expand its services across payments, tax administration, and financial workflows.
