Paymentology has partnered with Australian BaaS platform Kobble to accelerate the launch and expansion of embedded finance products across Australia.
The collaboration integrates the global issuer processing infrastructure of Paymentology with the locally licensed banking infrastructure of Kobble.
This combination allows fintech companies, enterprises, insurers, and consumer brands to roll out card programmes, branded accounts, and digital payment systems. This is achieved without navigating complex regulatory frameworks.
Embedded finance refers to the integration of financial services directly into non-financial business platforms. It is seeing accelerating demand in Australia.
Through this single platform, organisations can access card issuing, payment processing, regulatory compliance, and licensing.

“Embedded finance is moving from a niche innovation to a strategic priority for businesses across multiple industries,”
said Minh Ha Truong, Head of Growth APAC, Paymentology.
Truong added that businesses require infrastructure that removes operational complexity as they integrate financial products into their customer journeys.
Kobble provides local regulatory expertise alongside a modern platform approach.
The company recently introduced Kobble AI, a self-service product builder designed to help businesses configure and visualise embedded finance options within minutes.
The technical integration connects the issuer processing capabilities of Paymentology directly with the proprietary ledger and compliance infrastructure of Kobble.
This setup provides real-time authorisation, card switching, and settlement capabilities within the regulatory framework of Kobble.

“Demand for embedded finance in Australia has reached an inflection point,”
said Shane Chanel, Co-Founder and CEO, Kobble.
Chanel noted that the infrastructure of Paymentology offers the scale, reliability, and real-time capabilities that clients expect to move rapidly from concept to live card programmes.
While the partnership focuses initially on supporting clients across Australia, both companies plan to explore expansion opportunities into additional markets over time.
