OFX, a payments company, has appointed Liz Lord as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) as it expands beyond international payments into a broader financial operations platform for businesses.
Lord joins during a period of product expansion and increased demand from businesses seeking more control over cross-border payments, spending, and cash flow.
She will oversee global brand, customer acquisition, and go-to-market strategy across OFX’s business offerings and has more than 20 years of experience in digital payments and financial services marketing.
Lord previously served as CMO of PayPal Australia, where she led brand and commercial initiatives, and most recently ran a marketing consultancy focused on growth strategy and customer engagement.
Lord said the focus is on simplifying how businesses manage cross-border payments and financial operations.

“Many businesses still manage cross-border payments, cards and expenses in disconnected systems,”
she said.
“OFX has a clear opportunity to simplify that complexity. The combination of digital capability and human expertise is a genuine point of difference. My focus is to ensure customers understand the breadth of what OFX now offers and the practical value it delivers to finance teams.”
The company’s expanded offering includes multi-currency business accounts, corporate cards with real-time spend controls, expense management tools, accounts payable automation with AI-enabled invoice processing, and integrations with accounting platforms such as Xero and QuickBooks Online.
