GBG, a global identity technology company, has acquired DataTools, a Sydney-based provider of address validation and data quality solutions in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).
DataTools has been a GBG partner for over 10 years and serves more than 700 organisations across retail, finance, government, healthcare and logistics.
The company is known for its AI capabilities, high-performance technology, and local expertise.
The DataTools team will operate under GBG’s location intelligence division, GBG Loqate.
In the coming months, the teams will work to integrate their people, platforms and technology to enhance GBG’s presence in ANZ.
Customers can expect broader product capabilities, including improved address, phone and email validation, local support from ANZ experts, and continued development of AI-powered solutions.
For DataTools’ existing customers, services and support will continue without disruption during the integration.
Sam Cutroni, CEO of DataTools, said:

“Joining GBG is a natural next step for us. We’ve always focused on building smart, reliable solutions that solve real customer problems, and GBG shares that same commitment.”
David Green, Chief Revenue Officer at GBG Loqate, added:

“By combining forces, we’re in a stronger position to grow our ANZ presence and help every business reach every customer in the world through innovation, local insight and scale.”
