Revolut has announced RevPoints, a debit card loyalty programme in Australia that allows users to earn uncapped points redeemable for a range of airline loyalty schemes and other rewards.
The programme enables customers to accrue points on everyday spending, which can be converted into airline miles or used for discounts on travel, accommodation, experiences and more.
RevPoints provides a wide variety of redemption options that are available to all users, not just credit card holders.
Customers can convert their points to 10 airline loyalty programmes, including Etihad, British Airways and Turkish Airlines, offering a more accessible route to travel.
Points can also be used for discounts on Stays, which covers premium hotels and holiday accommodation, and Experiences, including tours and attractions, all available through the Lifestyle section of the Revolut app.
Depending on their plan, users can earn up to one point per dollar spent, with the option to accelerate earnings by converting spare change into points for in-app bookings.
Additionally, Australian users can redeem RevPoints for gift cards from a range of brands, including Amazon, Uber, Uber Eats, as well as local partners such as Woolworths and Big W.
This allows customers to convert points into tangible savings on everyday items and other purchases without requiring a credit card.
Matt Baxby, CEO of Revolut Australia, said,

“We know Australians are savvy with their money, and they’re increasingly looking for smarter ways to get more value from their everyday spending. RevPoints is a direct answer to that need. We’re breaking down the barriers to premium rewards by making them accessible through the debit card that most Australians already use daily. This isn’t just about earning points; it’s about making travel, unique experiences and tangible rewards a reality for more Aussies, without the need for a credit card.”
